If you have built castles in the air, your work need not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put foundations under them. ~Henry David Thoreau

The fun didn't stop...
Following Summer and Dan's departure, Becca flew in from Mexico. Poor thing had a terrible trip back to the US, but we were so happy to see her in spite of the late night. The following evening, Rash took all of us to the Air Show (which is not recommended unless you're into hill billy trash and dirty people).
Below: Saturday, I drove Becca down to Albany and we stopped at Woodburn Outlets. We couldn't resist snapping a self-portrait in front of the flowers.

We love the Trudells!
This past Tuesday Summer, Dan and their niece, Emily, paid us a delightful visit. Their current place of residence is Atlanta, Georgia . Summer and I have been friends since I was in 5th grade, and every time we're together I feel a part of me has returned. She and Dan enriched our home with their presence and we are thankful for our time with them.
Yesterday (Wednesday) we took a day-trip to Cannon Beach, to show Emily the Pacific Ocean. It was a balmy day, and though we would have appreciated the sunshine... the weather was quite temperate.

Lindsey and Douglas throw a great party!
Lindsey and Douglas were married July 26th, 2008. It was a beautiful wedding held at Skamania Lodge in Stevenson, Washington. We were able to snap some really fun photos.
Above: Julie was a bridesmaid in the wedding. It was a special day for their friendship.
