Brooklynn Turns Five!!!

I cannot believe it, but our little Boo turned five last week!

Five years ago she entered this world, beautiful, strong and bald as ever! I loved her from the start and given everything she and her Mama have been through, my love is even deeper.

I am so grateful to have been able to celebrate Brooklynn's fifth birthday here with her...and talk about how amazing of a little girl she's becoming! She is smart, cunning, and incredibly lovable.

What a lucky Aunt I am to have a little Boo like her! I cannot imagine life without her!

Dig Deep

Dad's been doing an amazing job on he and Mom's backyard. Since I was here last, he's pruned, planted and installed. There's an adorable pond too!

That being said, he had a little extra help on Sunday. And of course, I had to snap a few pics.
Dad taught Lucas some mad digging skills!
What's gonna work?... Teamwork!
Whoops! In fact, I didn't even know this happened until I looked at these photos.
It's moments like these that foster great relationships with our families. The small things really do matter.

Pumpkin Patch Time!

Julie, Tory, Brooklynn and I went out last Saturday to enjoy the season.  We headed out to Baggenstos, outside of Sherwood and enjoyed the sunshine, pumpkins and cart rides.
Above: Tory was gracious enough to provide Brooky some comfort on her rough cart ride.

Above: Baggenstos has these steele figures throughout the produce stand.  Quite interesting.
Above: "Aunt Beth, will you hold this please?"
Above: Brooky was wedged between pumpkins in the cart.  She loved it!

Better late than never...

I can't believe Brooklynn turned one (September 28th) already!  I don't want to sound cliche' but my how time flies.  Just seems like yesterday she arrived... precious as ever.
Here are a couple pics of her 1st birthday:
