Easter 2008 Style

(Acts 2:24-27 NASB) And God raised Him up again, putting an end to the agony of death, since it was impossible for Him to be held in its power. 25 "For David says of Him, 'I WAS ALWAYS BEHOLDING THE LORD IN MY PRESENCE; FOR HE IS AT MY RIGHT HAND, THAT I MAY NOT BE SHAKEN. 26 'THEREFORE MY HEART WAS GLAD AND MY TONGUE EXULTED; MOREOVER MY FLESH ALSO WILL ABIDE IN HOPE; 27 BECAUSE THOU WILT NOT ABANDON MY SOUL TO HADES, NOR ALLOW THY HOLY ONE TO UNDERGO DECAY."

Easter Sunday was a busy, but great day for us. Dad and I (Beth) sang in the choir all weekend and Matt attended church with Julie and Brooklynn Sunday morning. Unfortunately, Mom recently had dental work done, so she was feeling under the weather... as was Grandma, and they missed church. Grandma was disappointed... it's the first Easter Sunday she hasn't been able to be in a service.

Matt's folks' came over for Easter Dinner after church. Lisa brought some delicious food (as always), and we enjoyed their company greatly. Later that evening we went over to the Cates' house for dessert and chit chat. Both Mom and Grandma were feeling better and shared some carrot cake with us.

That night, Matt did our taxes. Nice.

Here are some photos to share...
