If you have built castles in the air, your work need not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put foundations under them. ~Henry David Thoreau

Merry Christmas!
This year was an interesting year for Matt and I. We enjoyed the Christmas Holiday in spite of feeling completely unprepared. This year felt different for multiple reasons, but we still had a great time with our families.
In Salem, we enjoyed a delicious meal with the Tibbs for Christmas Eve! Beth was able to make it into town with her boyfriend Gordon. She brought a dog and a kitten with her too. In addition, Andrew brought he and Paoh's dog, which meant a full house for Dan and Lisa! I didn't take the photos I should have taken, so this blog will only contain photos of the Cates.
Yesterday was a quiet day with Julie, Mom, Dad and Brooklynn. Things felt different this year with Grandma being gone, but we still enjoyed our day together. We watched Rudolph, played Pictionary and enjoyed another great Christmas meal!
This was later in the evening... Matt and I were pretty worn out.
Above: Obi, Julie's dog had to be in the pic.
Above: Brooklynn picked a good one.
Above: Brookynn received the cutest rocking chair from Grandma and Grandpa.
Above: Mom & Dad, duh.
