Winter Wonderland

Winter is finally here, and I'm feeling back in the game. I don't know what it was, but I was a little out of sorts the past month. Between illness and Summer disappearing, I think I just wanted to hibernate for awhile.

That being said, Winter here in Salt Lake City is a true Winter. We've already had a boat-load of snow! It's fantastic to be able to sit and watch it come down, softly and quietly. And being that snow is a regular part of the Winter season here in SLC, the town stays alive during these blasts of snow.

I've snapped a few pics of our Winter Wonderland:
Lil' Man gearing up to play!
This is the front of our apartment... which may seem obvious.
"Let's go Mom!"
This is the park nearby. It's just gorgeous!
Self portrait... which proved to be challenging. Hence, my not-so-photogenic face.
Yum... snow.
Lucas was NOT very pleased about the sixteen inches of cold wetness.
The Eastside of Liberty Park. The city actually clears off the sidewalks in the park! Heaven.

  1. I'm jealous of all the snow. I want to take Liam for walks in a winter wonderland :)

The pictures of Lucas are adorable. He's getting so big. I can hardly believe it.

  3. I love all these snow pictures! Lucas looks like he really enjoys playing in it. That last shot of the park is beautiful. We are enjoying our last couple of days with no snow (we are in Missouri) since we will have plenty (as in a couple of feet) of it when we get home. We just got Trip a snowsuit that looks just like the Lucas has. I think he will enjoy getting out in the cold too!
