Last night was opening night for the show that Matt and his coworkers have been slaving over the past few weeks. It seemed unreal for him to imagine having a weekend at home and going back to a "normal" schedule. I can tell you right now, I'm happy he's back.
So... I won't go into the details, but last night was fun. We ate some great food at Niche', saw Sunset Boulevard and partied at Ichiban Sushi afterward. It was a late night with too much food, too much drink and way too much fun.
I'm sure that a great night out doesn't make all the extra hours worth it, but at least it's a great way to celebrate that they're over for a while! Yay! It's very cool that Matt's job allows you to get out now and then. Great job on the beautiful (yet thrifty) outfit! Isn't it so satisfying to know that you look good, plus you didn't break the bank?
