Being a mother to a child who finds trouble in all things, my heart sank for moment. Resigned to find devastation, I made my way toward the back of the house...
Only to find our little man snuggled in bed; ready for a nap. And instead of a sinking heart, my heart swelled with happiness. It's a blessing to have a child who loves his naps!
Now to work on bedtime...
Thanks for sharing these special moments. It brought a chuckle for Lisa and I (the "far too quiet"-- we remember those times very well and what it might mean:) And, it also brought that full-heart feeling you describe that comes from the sweetness of such times. Thanks again for sharing.
