Grandpa and Grandma in Salem

And then we went to Salem... to relax and catch up on some sleep. Divine. It was just divine.

Grandpa Dan taught Lucas to use a straw

It has become evident that Grandpa Dan is idolized in Lucas' eyes. He LOVES Grandpa Dan. It's was very cute to see him run to Dan and snuggle with him.

Grandpa Dan and Grandma Lisa played with Lucas non-stop.

Lucas LOVES rough and tumble... which Grandma seemed to enjoy also.

I'm not sure how Lucas ended up with only one shoe and no diaper... but he was running wildly around the house in this fashion.

Overall, the time spent in Salem was wonderful. We ate delicious food, I had time to read and Lucas had some serious quality time with Grandpa Dan & Grandma Lisa (which is priceless). They're devotion to our family is touching and I couldn't ask for anything more in a family.
