Home Alone

Can you tell I've been home alone a lot lately? Yes. Matt is in tech rehearsals, which means long days and nights without a sane human being in the home.

So here I am, posting pictures of my sugar cookies. I think frosting would have been cuter than sprinkles, but we'll have to settle for semi-cute.

Fannie Farmer's Sugar Cookie recipe is delicious... but as usual it wasn't entirely accurate. The recipe supposedly yielded 60 cookies... and probably made thirty (I lost count... been munching)... after doubling the batch. Fannie's recipes are always a gamble.

And the more I look at this picture... the uglier my cookies look. I need to work on my food snapshot skills.
