Lucas is now 21 months old (that's one and a half... and then some) and it seems he's growing into toddlerhood at full speed. It is a bittersweet feeling for me. Every day he's maturing into a young boy and showing obvious signs of independence. I am thrilled to see Lucas learn and embrace the world around him.
As Lucas develops skills and abilities I'm encouraged to see them put into practice. Dinner time is a perfect example of just that. He is continually learning to use his fork and spoon and mimic our eating habits (thank goodness we have table manners!). It seems just yesterday his coordination and motor skills were not quite there... and yet today, he's eating his dinner like a champ.
Not sure why the "aggressive eating face" is in place. |

I ADORE his facial expression in this pic. If only I could read his mind.... |
Kudos to you! Wyatt still thinks it is entertaining to fling food around with his utensils, so I ususally go for "eating with hands" still. What can I say? I'm much lazier the second time around. I'm raising a cave man!
